A daguerreotype photograph of the Mormon religion founder Joseph Smith jr and wife Emma Smith has been identified by W.L. Schafer from a Marshall Missouri estate sale purchase he had made in 2020. His July 31 discovery occurred a week after another daguerrotype picture of Joseph Smith Jr had been shared to the press after years of research.
